Wendy Murray

Drawing has always been the foundation of Murray’s arts practice but it wasn’t until 2010 that she committed to a daily drawing practice. The Daily drawing series began in April 2010 whilst on residency at Hill End, NSW, Australia. Over ten years Murray has completed more than 300 drawings. These intricate, gentle drawings have been collected by institutions including Lake Macquarie City Gallery, Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, and the University of Sydney.
Over 300 of Murray’s Daily drawings were featured in her first retrospective drawing exhibition at the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, 2019.
